What is Coaching?
“Coaching is partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximise their personal and professional potential. Coaching is an ongoing relationship which focuses on clients taking action toward the realisation of their visions, goals or desires. Coaching uses a process of inquiry and personal discovery to build the client's level of awareness and responsibility and provides the client with structure, support and feedback. The coaching process helps clients both define and achieve professional and personal goals faster and with more ease than would be possible otherwise.”

What are the benefits of coaching?
Coaching can enable individuals to identify what they want and how to get it; and improve the robustness of business strategy and outcomes.
“The primary benefits of coaching are (in this order): improved individual performance, bottom line results including profit, client service and competitiveness, development of people for the next level: confidence raising, skills and self empowerment, goal achievement, relationship improvements, and retention.”

The Process of Coaching
The client outlines their goals. The coach and client will identify milestones towards the ultimate goal to measure progress. There may be final evidence tasks which have tangible goals to be reached. There can also be ongoing tasks, perhaps concerning quality of life, which will never be ‘finished’.
